The Munch Museum is part of Oslo City Art collections, and is
by far the world's largest collection of works by the Norwegian
painter and graphic artist Edvard Munch (1863-1944). The museum
enjoys a unique position internationally, and the rich collection
is the basis for frequent special exhibitions in the museum and
exhibitions worldwide.
Since March 2000, Metallic Avocado has been commissioned to create
several online exhibitions, an online shop as well as the main
museum website. In 2001 MA produced the online catalogue of Munch's
complete graphic oeuvre, featuring 748 different print motifs by
the artist.
Metallic Avocado works in collaboration with the exhibition
curators to
create online
experiences
of Edvard
Munch's
works that reflect and add to the exhibitions in the museum in
Oslo.
